Plastic and its associated problems have become a very complicated issue and the aim of the Plastic Free standard is to bring clarity to the world of plastics, using relatable language.
This is why Control Union is providing certification for Plastic Free, which is now available to brands and producers.
The aim of the Plastic Free Certification is to reduce the use of plastics, along with incentivising the development of sustainable materials.
This certification is the first of its kind, using clear language to give customers complete confidence that products bearing the Plastic Free Certification are free from fossil fuel based plastic.
Provided by Control Union, the Plastic Free scheme certifies that end products, packaging and materials contain 0%fossil fuel based plastic.
